      garments worn
      by servants in Queen Victoria's household. Lived 7 Church Lane,
      Elstead (1851
      Census). Left Southampton 17 Oct 1854 by assisted passage on 'British
      Empire'
      arriving Pt.Henry 15 Jan 1855 with husband, 5 children and 7 months
      pregnant.
      They left the ship of their own account for South Geelong. The ship
      carried
      164 adults and 80 children with 11 deaths en route (Ship.Index book
      10,p.442).
