    • Arthur served in India with the Queens royal west Surrey Regiment 2nd
      battalion No.S/256 1895,his medal was won at Punjab Frontier
      1897/98.He was killed in action at the battle of Loo's 25-9-1915.
      My father is named after Arthur he was christend at about the sametime
      Arthur was killed.I have Arthurs medal and my father remembers his
      father George giving it to him one Sunday morning.
      Arthur was a private at the the time of his death 25-9-1915.
